What Psychics Won’t Tell You About Making Hard Decisions

Why Clarity Matters More Than Certainty Right Now

There’s a particular kind of exhaustion that comes with transition. Not the fatigue of overwork, but the deeper drain of not knowing what comes next, or worse, knowing something must change but not being able to see how.

It’s the feeling of standing at a crossroads without a map, watching everyone else seem certain while you’re still trying to orient yourself.

This is when many people reach out for a psychic reading.

And I understand why. When the ground shifts beneath you, whether through career upheaval, relationship ending, relocation, or simply the slow-burning realization that the life you built no longer fits, the instinct is to seek answers.

To find someone who can tell you what’s coming, what to do, which path to take.

But here’s what I’ve learned after years of intuitive work with clients navigating exactly this kind of uncertainty: what people actually need during transition isn’t certainty.

It’s clarity. And those two things are not the same.

What’s the Difference Between a Psychic Reading and Therapy?

Perception first, prediction second.

Certainty is about the future. Clarity is about now.

When someone books a session hoping I’ll tell them whether they should leave their job, move cities, or end a relationship, they’re often looking for permission, or absolution. Someone else to make the decision, remove the risk, guarantee the outcome.

I can’t give them that. No ethical psychic can.

What I can offer is something more immediate and, frankly, more useful: a clearer view of what’s already present. Fears masquerading as intuition.

Intuition being drowned out by external pressure. The part of them that already knows the answer but hasn’t been able to hear it over the noise.

Real psychic work during periods of transition isn’t about forecasting exactly what will happen in six months, but it will give you a birds eye view on where you’re coming from, where you are and future possibilities.

Don’t get me wrong, I’ve accurately predicted when babies are due, names of future partners, significant specifics..

It’s about helping someone see what they’re standing in right now: what they’re carrying, what they’re avoiding, and what they actually want beneath all the fear and conditioning.

Why Can’t I Trust My Intuition Anymore?

Uncertainty scrambles our knowing. That’s not a flaw in the process but the entire point. Growth requires letting go of what was, even when what comes next hasn’t fully formed yet. But that in-between space is deeply uncomfortable for the nervous system.

When we’re in flux, our baseline shifts. We lose access to the quiet, steady part of ourselves that usually knows what feels right and what doesn’t.

The inner compass gets drowned out by urgency, fear, comparison, and the exhausting mental loop of trying to think our way to safety.

I had a client recently, someone I hadn’t seen in years, who joined me on Zoom without saying a word about what was happening in her life. I usually ask clients to prepare three open-ended questions in advance.

If I can answer them without hearing the questions first, that’s usually proof of something paranormal, something extrasensory at work. But some people prefer not to say anything at all. Honestly, that’s my preference too. It lets me act as a conduit and say exactly what I see.

This client didn’t offer any context. But as I tuned in, I kept seeing the same theme surface: security. Division between action and stability. Two driving forces within her, one wanting comfort, the other demanding progress.

Your mind and your heart need to work in unison. You need to visualize something and then emotionally invest in it incrementally, not burn yourself out chasing validation for every action.

Without her saying anything, I could see she was going through a major job shift. She had just left a role she’d been in for twelve years, a role she’d poured her existence into. But the person she was working for no longer represented her ethics or values.

So she made the call to take a medical leave and figure out her next move.

And I saw it clearly. I told her: you’re either meeting someone or you’ve already met someone at a social gathering, and it seems like there’s an offer coming for a new position at a different company in the same sector. You might be working from home, or both. This could really pay off.

You’re very much in the right place at the right time, doing the right thing.

If I didn’t sense that, I wouldn’t be able to say it.

Do Psychic Predictions Actually Come True?

Only when they arrive unbiddenVintage brass compass with spinning needle on wet stone with quote: Your intuition isn't broken, it's just being drowned out by fear - learning to trust intuition

Sometimes, predictions do occur. But they’re nothing that can be pressed or manufactured. People will sometimes expect the cheap fortune-telling tactics from a well-seasoned psychic reader. And here’s the thing: if we don’t see something, we don’t say it.

At the end of a reading, it’s all too common for people to ask, “Well, what do you see for this? Or what about this? Should I or shouldn’t I?” I’m not here to drive your life or make decisions for you. That’s surrendering free will.

But what happens is sometimes I’ll see a very specific name, or somebody that might share an initial. One woman was looking for a relationship, and I said, “Oh, have you met someone at a dog park? And they have a J initial?” She said no. She hadn’t.

Well, the next time I saw her, maybe a few months later, she’d met someone who has a dog, and they go to the dog park together. And his name starts with a J.

I’ve seen people landing jobs. One person transited across Canada, and I initially saw that change because I saw something to do with the Toronto Blue Jays. He ended up moving his whole family to Toronto later that year. In the subsequent reading, he said there was no way I could have known that.

None of that made any sense to me. And none of any prediction I have usually does. I don’t expect anyone to bank on it. It’s something you can look back on and perhaps be amazed. Or know that there’s a greater understanding to life that we can’t quite wrap our human minds around.

How Do I Make Decisions When Everything Feels Uncertain?

Better questions, steadier groundWhite feather suspended in golden light against twilight sky with quote: Sometimes knowing arrives quietly, without you asking for it - psychic predictions and synchronicity

If you’re in the middle of a difficult transition right now, here’s what I’ve seen make a difference in session after session.

Slowing down instead of speeding up. The instinct during uncertainty is to gather more information, make lists, analyze every angle, consult everyone. But often, what’s needed is the opposite: stillness. Space. Enough quiet to let your own inner knowing come forward without being shouted down by fear or urgency.

Distinguishing between fear and intuition. Fear is loud, repetitive, and often sounds like someone else’s voice. It catastrophizes. Intuition, on the other hand, is quiet and specific. It doesn’t argue. It simply knows.

Asking better questions. “What should I do?” is the wrong question. It puts the focus of control outside yourself. Better questions sound like: What am I actually afraid of here? What do I already know that I’m not letting myself admit? What would I choose if I trusted myself completely?

Regulating your nervous system. You cannot access clear intuition from a dysregulated state. When you’re chronically anxious, your perception narrows. This is why practices that bring you back into your body aren’t optional during transition. Breathwork, movement, time in nature, somatic awareness: these are foundational.

Working with someone who won’t make you dependent. A responsible psychic doesn’t want you coming back every week for permission to live your life. They want to help you trust yourself more, not less.

What Should I Expect From an Online Psychic Reading?

Orientation, not fortune-tellingAncient tree roots emerging from earth into forest light with quote: The answer isn't out there, it's in slowing down enough to hear yourself - spiritual decision making

When someone books a session with me during a time of upheaval, my goal isn’t to tell them what’s going to happen. It’s to help them land more fully in what’s true for them right now.

Sometimes that looks like naming the pattern they’ve been running that’s finally reached its limit. Other times it’s reflecting back the quiet knowing they’ve been dismissing as impractical. Occasionally it’s simply holding space for them to stop performing certainty and admit they’re afraid.

The best sessions aren’t the ones where I deliver some profound prediction. They’re the ones where the client leaves feeling like they can hear themselves again. Like the static cleared just enough for them to remember they’ve always had access to their own wisdom.

Listen, it is tough to surrender to the unknown. The entire premise of being a full-time psychic is a practice in that. It’s not perfection. I need to sit down with the person across from me. I don’t look at you on the screen.

I feel into that. Into your energy, your situation, your psyche. Your guides in spirit, communicating with mine in a way that I can understand. It’s kind of like tuning a radio.

And yes, bad things happen to good people. But it’s the reaction of the person that makes them good. So nothing is happening to you. It’s how you react to it.

I’ve been in very sticky situations myself, and I could have reacted better. I’m human. We all are. We make mistakes. We’re flawed. We do what we think is best in that moment.

Sometimes you’ll replay things with regret, wondering if you could have done things differently or better. And you can just learn from mistakes. That’s it. But make the choice. Go forward with what you believe in. Trust your heart. Trust in the unknown.

What You’re Actually SeekingGlowing candle flame reflected in still water with quote: You don't need permission to trust yourself, but sometimes you need the reminder - psychic guidance and self-trust

I think what most people want when they’re going through a major life change isn’t really to know the future. It’s to know they’re going to be okay. That they’re not making a catastrophic mistake. That the uncertainty will eventually resolve into something solid.

And while I can’t promise any specific outcome, I can tell you this: the fact that you’re asking these questions, that you’re willing to sit in the discomfort of not knowing, that you’re seeking clarity instead of just numbing out or bulldozing forward, that already tells me something about your capacity.

Transition is hard. It’s supposed to be. But it’s also where the most important recalibrations happen. The ones that bring you closer to what’s actually true for you, rather than what you inherited or defaulted into.

We came here to Earth to learn about love, through a very messy, chaotic human experience. It’s going home at the end of the day and just knowing that we tried our best.

No one gets out of life alive. You came here to have a temporary human moment.

You don’t need a psychic to give you permission to trust yourself. But sometimes it helps to have someone remind you that the answers you’re searching for are already inside you. You just need the space and steadiness to hear them.

And that’s what clarity gives you. Not certainty about what’s coming. But confidence in your ability to navigate whatever does.
